If you are a new visitor to our charming beachside community, you can find detailed information about things to do and places to visit or stay on the Visit Solana Beach website curated by our local Chamber of Commerce.
If you are a resident or just stopping by, view our upcoming events calendar for a schedule of City sponsored events offered year round. Enriched with a strong sense of community, we host events such as the Fiesta del Sol in the Spring with live music, great food and artisan booths; Concerts-in-the-Park on summer evenings at Fletcher Cove, a park by the sea; two Holiday Tree Lighting events in winter; and much more.

Solana Beach started as a farming community with gorgeous bluffs overlooking the ocean, but with no beach access. Later on, a gap was cut out in the bluffs, providing access to the ocean. The beachfront is divided into four main Beach Parks: Fletcher Cove, Tide Beach Park, Seascape Surf, and Del Mar Shores. These beaches provide a wide variety of recreational activities for City residents and visitors. Find out more
